A cult bourbon with a very high rye content in the mash, which provides a spicy kick on the palate. A very traditional old-style bourbon, not for the faint-hearted. Dark amber with a cestnut cast. Moderately full-bodied. Walnuts, dried citrus, flowers, allspice. Rich, silky texture. Deep sensations of nuts and fragrance are followed by a spicy core of fruit. Quite rounded in finish. An elegant sipper.
