Sumptuous long-aged 'Extra' cognac from one of the best Cognac producers. The house was founded by Léon Croizet way back in 1805. Croizet Cognac is one of Cognac’s historic Houses, founded in 1805 by Léon Croizet, Sommelier to Napoleon I’s High Command. Since the beginning, the successive generations have successfully transformed the founder’s dream into an international brand, recognized by experts around the world worldwide for its superior quality. Croizet is a 100% Grande Champagne Cognac. The House style is determined by the 60 hectares of vineyards the company owns in Grande Champagne, considered to be the most prestigious growth area in the cognac region. Croizet expresses this region’s very typical style, showing great elegance, richness of aromas, and great length on the palate. The company masters every step in the production process and as such Croizet cognacs are both authentic and traditional. The wines are distilled on their lees in small Charentais pot-stills, and then slowly aged in French oak barrels in the House’s original ageing cellars prior to blending and bottling at the premises. This process makes for a smooth and rich taste.
