A splendid white rum from the magnificent Mount Gay. The original Eclipse gold was named after a total solar eclipse that occurred on Barbados in 1910. Clear rum distilled from fermented molasses. Aged a minimum of 2 years in used whisky and bourbon barrels. Introduced in the 2008, this aged light white rum replaces their their Special Reserve rum. Distinctive hints of cane and banana in the body make this white rum a good cocktail mixer. Clean and aromatic, it offers a balanced, mellow harmony of sugar cane syrup and banana, infused with notes of peppermint and citrus. Its finish is soft and lingering.
