J&B Rare blended scotch is one of the more recognizable brands of whisky around. Blended in London, they claim that over 42 whiskies go into their blend. It"s heart is in Speyside scotch, giving it the famous peat reek overtones so many associate with scotch. They use other whiskies to smooth out the Speyside creating a flavor that, in their words, is "smooth and complex."
