This is a blend of four varieties: 36% Cabernet Franc, 35% Malbec, 18% Syrah and 11% Merlot mainly from the Gimblett Gravels and Red Metal soils. All of the varieties were made separately and aged in barrel before blending. The result is a medium-bodied red with gentle dark red berry fruits and a touch of tobacco and earthy interest on a supple and soft-textured palate that finishes with a smooth, fine-grained finish.
