Morton Estate Black Label Meth Trad, 11.6%
Code:9415850025027
The new vintage is always eagerly awaited and the 2004 was certainly worth waiting for. A Pinot Meunier dominant, ?typical?, Champagne blend. Made for Champagne connoisseurs and ?bubbly? people alike.
The wine is youthful in appearance coloured pale straw with a green hue, while the bead is fine and consistent. Aromas of strawberries, honey-comb toast and ripe figs are present, fused into a background of seductive, ?freshly baked bread? yeast autolysis characters.
The palate is fresh and lively and fills the mouth with fresh citrus flavours. Secondary ferment yeast characters present a creamy mouth feel which continues throughout the long, enlightening experience.
This is certainly a style that will combine well with any celebrations, chicken or seafood dishes or as pure indulgence on its own.
