Named after the distillery’s founder, James Allardyce, this 18yo has been matured exclusively in ex-Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 46%
Allardice, the GlenDronach 18 Year Old is matured in premium Oloroso sherry casks, sourced from renowned bodegas in the south of Spain. It's a sublime and truly unforgettable malt. Non chill filtered and natural colour. with a bright deep gold appearance with a tawny centre. The nose is lovely and sweet. Fudge compote and glacier morello cherries. Fabulous complexity. The symphony continues with a remarkable, palatable flavours of stewed fruits and all-spice. Aged oloroso and toasted walnut bread combined with chocolate orange.
This dram is tremendously complex and long.
