Fantastically sweet and well balanced with all the fruits from the Latour casks
standing firm against the Macallan spirit. Vanilla fudge and caramel are laced with ripe black cherries, plums, blackberries and a hint of liquorice. Floral notes whisper throughout and over time notes of mellow oak, freshly ground coffee and chocolate will sing from the glass.
PALATE
Uninhibited by youth, the taste makes you want to shout from the rooftops as
through the mouth coating oils comes layer after layer of warming, peppery
flavour. Malted barley is infused with aniseed, mild spice, mint leaves and icing
sugar. The chewy texture develops in to baked almonds, toffee popcorn and
toasted waffles with maple syrup as the rich dark fruits continue to be emphasized
on the palate with just a chink of charcoal.
