Lark whiskies are all single cask. The barrel number is hand written on the label of every bottle. Single barrel whiskies have the ultimate in uniqueness, where each barrel has a slightly different flavour profile to the next, meaning that Lark whiskies will always bring you something new. The actual barrel selected for bottling is carefully chosen from many. When a barrel is considered at its peak and excellent drinkability it is taken from the storehouse and bottled. Lark whiskies are aged in quarter casks, smaller than the usual size, which means they gain more oak contact, ageing faster and acquiring many more flavours. This, along with the way Lark lightly peat their whisky and the fact that they own their own peat bog, results in a uniqueness that is enjoyed in every sip.
