Smirnoff Vodka and Blood Orange is a non carbonated, light and smooth drink sure to tempt any taste buds. The fact that it’s non carbonated makes it very easy to drink and stops the late night bloating. Blood Orange is not a flavour that I have tried before so wasn’t sure what to expect. I found it to have quite a strong sweet orange flavour with a tarty grapefruit like aftertaste. Very pleasant and refreshing.
For an extra burst of citrus you could serve with a slice of Blood Orange (or, if like me you’ve never actually seen a blood orange, an ordinary orange). I, personally, think that a splash of lemonade would add a little sweetness while subduing the strength of the fruit flavour.
