2011 Edition Sovrano Limoncello has been awarded with a Double Gold Medal at the 2012 San Francisco World Spirits Competition
Andrea & Marzia Loggia were born in Northern Italy, Andrea's family of Sicilian origin, and Marzia's family from Mantova. They emigrated to New Zealand in 2007. Their ambition is to produce the best and finest Limoncello Liqueur in New Zealand, and after that, to take their product to the world.
They use locally grown, spray-free lemons and blend them with locally produced grain alcohol, distilled to a pure 96.4%; the results are, they declare, the "purest ever made."
