“For this wine, I selected fruit with nice melon, tropical and stone fruit flavours from a single vineyard in Gisborne’s Patutahi region. I added some additional texture with lees stirring and malolactic fermentation, so it goes well with food. The wine can cellar for four years, but I’ll drink mine soon!”

Green tinged with lifted fruit aromas of pineapple, melon and peach. It has a background yeast lees character adding extra complexity. Soft and refreshing with melon, tropical and stonefruit flavours and a creamy mid-palate leading to a pleasant textural finish.
