Ripe peach and melon flavours are expressed well in this wine. The soft use of oak gives a nice balance which is topped off with a floral purfume nose that results in a fantasic Chardonnay! This intergration of ripe fruit and subtle oak flavours are essential to making this a lovely easy drinking wine.
Mystery Creek winery refuse to compromise on quality and this is clearly seen in this Waikato Reserve Chardonnay 2008. Right down (or should we say up) to the top of the bottle that is sealed with a screw cap for freshness and accessibility.
